I'm 30!
The best day of Leo season
Hi devotees,
Doesn’t something seem different about me? A certain glow surrounding my aura? An ineffable wisdom that just seems to permeate everything I do and say? Perhaps it’s because I’m at the start of a new decade—I’m 30 years old, as of today!
This past decade has been a whirlwind of new experiences, hard lessons, beautiful moments, and plenty of laughter. It’s the decade I started SW, birthed Amalia, and dove headfirst into the kink community. I’m so grateful to every person that has witnessed, nurtured, and challenged me these past ten years. Aging is a strange and beautiful thing, and I don’t take any moment of it for granted. I hope you don’t either.
And as a Leo, I loved to be celebrated, especially for my birthday and especially for milestone birthdays! I want luxe, glamour, grand gestures, and generosity! I want my cup to runneth over so much that it creates a river of gluttony and hedonism that ferries me away. I am always accepting gifts in the form of cash (just put “happy birthday!” in the note), gift cards (especially for Uber and eBay), and gifts from my wishlists (found here and here). I’m so excited to share more about an event I’m organizing as part of my work with Decrim NY! Read on for details…
WH⭐RE PR⭐M is a collaboration between Decrim NY and Kink Out Events: part fundraiser, part dance party, together an ADULTS ONLY prom with a heart of gold, a joyous convening of NYC’s SWer community. All the money raised at this event will go directly to Decrim to help us in our fight for decriminalization. This is an event open to everyone who loves SWers—allies, fans, and supporters are very much welcome (just open that wallet and make it rain on us!). There will be raffle items (including a fun offering from yours truly), free on-site STI testing, and some extra special fun in the lower level of the event space. It would mean a lot to see folks I know in attendance, as a show of support for these amazing organizations and for the work I do as a SWer and organizer. You can buy tickets for the event here.
I hope your Leo season is off to a good start, and you are able to leisurely soak up these last few weeks of summer. By the time you read this, I’ll be in Miami making it rain on strippers for my birthday (could you imagine a better way to celebrate turning 30??).
